Elections for the Board of the National Trust announced

The Board of the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism,
Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation & Multiple
Disabilities is due for elections very soon.
In a ‘Notice’ published in some of the newspapers, nominations have been invited for the nine vacancies on the Board. Only organisations registered with the Trust as on 3 July 2006 will constitute the Electoral Roll. The nine vacancies are distributed in the following manner:
Three vacancies for Voluntary organisations – one working in the area of mental retardation, one working in the area of autism and one working in the area of cerebral palsy.
Three vacancies for Association of Parents – one working in the area of mental retardation, one working in the area of autism and one working in the area of multiple disabilities.
Three vacancies for the Association of Persons with Disabilities - one working in the area of cerebral palsy and two working in the area of multiple disabilities.
Last date for the receipt of nominations is 3 August 2006.
