‘Readable’ to be launched soon
D.N.I.S. News Network, India: Inclusive Planet, in collaboration with the Centre for Internet and Society, Bangalore (C.I.S.), is launching Readable, perhaps the worlds largest user generated library of books specifically designed for visually impaired people, on July 15th. In a remarkable achievement, they have already added nearly 5,000 titles to Readable.
Sachin Malhan, co-founder of Inclusive Planet says, The titles include books for C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E., engineering, medical and even a few fictions. We are hoping to take this number to 50,000 titles in the next one year.
Inclusive Planet is focusing on providing lifestyle and livelihood solutions through online and mobile services.
We look at access from 3 different perspectives access to learning, access to places and access to people. We are developing solutions for the 3 which we call Readable, Visitable and Matchable, respectively, Malhan added.
It is also building Indias first online community and market place for disabled people.
