C.B.S.E. to offer mathematics and science exams in Braille
D.N.I.S. News Network, India: This time around blind and visually impaired students of the tenth standard need not worry about a scribe to write their board examinations, at least for mathematics and science! They can now take these two examinations independently in Braille format.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) that conducts the X and XII Board examinations throughout the country recently announced this decision.
This year 309 visually impaired students will sit for the class X exams and 249 for the class XII exams.
