The 1999-model CNG bus made its way from the office of Samarthya (Centre for Promotion of Barrier Free Environment for Disabled Persons) in Mansarovar Garden, to Shastri Bhawan.
During its maiden run, the bus carried on board four persons with different disabilities. Two of them were Anjlee Agarwal and Sanjeev Sachdeva, both founder members of Samarthya and members of the National Core Access Committee constituted to work on the project.
