Relax upper age limit for disabled applicants in anganwadi posts: High Court
D.N.I.S. News Network, India: The Madras High Court has asked the State Government to increase the upper age limit of people with disabilities applying for anganwadi posts. It also increased the time limit for people with disabilities to send applications for the current posts being advertised by 2 weeks.The Court was hearing a petition on the issue based on a 1964 Government Order giving age relaxation to people with disabilities and the Disability Act of 1995, which also has a provision for relaxation of age limit.
